Hi Pards,
Just a short note about Saturdays match it was great. Loved the stages, especially the two where we moved forward and with lots of shotgun. Thanks for all your hard work. Everything went smooth and it was nice having the stage description on the web as well as posted at each stage. I saw a couple of cowboys with print outs on their cart of the stage descriptions. The weather didn't cooperate to well, it was really hot and sticky but we had plenty of water. Again good job, it was a fun shoot. Looking forward to next month.

I enjoyed shooting today very much and I wish the new club officers the very best, but something has to be done to speed things up! For 26 shooters to take just about 5 hours in this heat to complete 6 stages is crazy

Chic, would like to post a notice on your forum regarding our annual shoot, ATR in April. If that's possible, I've attached it for your review and use.

Thanks, The Blue Ridge Ranger

Hello! As a new SASS shooter with the Dulzura Desperados in San Digo County, CA, I want to thank you for this great Handbook!

I have sent new shooters that come online at the Carolina Belle's website, to your online New Shooters Handbook and drafted a copy for all to copy for their new club members. I got to thinking after I put it on the CB website, that I should get your permission to do so. Here's the LINK to what I did. If this is not okay with you, please let me know and I'll quietly remove it. It's a great handbook and I'd like to see your work be shared with as many as possible...because it's a great job!

Thanks for considering my request.

I had not been aware until this weekend that the Rio Salado Cowboys give the Rio Salado Sportsman Club $5 (for every cowboy shooter every shooting day) that is not a member of the Rio Salado Sportsman Club. If you shoot a lot at the Rio Salado Cowboys club or the public range, please consider membership in the Rio Salado Sportsman Club. It is not a requirement to be a member but shooters are asked to consider it and save the cowboy shooters $5 per shooter to use for other expenses like new targets, etc. See: http://www.riosaladosportsmans.com/

Shooters are also encouraged to join the Rio Salado Cowboy Shooters also as these dollars go directly to the Cowboy shooters for targets and other expenses. See the following for more information: http://www.riosaladocowboys.com/membership.html

Mike, Here's a post we just received from Desert Drifter Dave's Dad. A real sad post.

Wanted to share this with the folks at Rio.

Is there a way we can put out a "alert" for a short period of time. We had a robbery on 10/27 and lost all of our cowboy handguns and one long gun. I have the serial numbers on all except a pair of Blackhawks. I've posted on Open Range, ACSA, and am waiting for approval on AZ Firearms site. Also have requested posting on SASS.

If you can help, great. If not, it's okay. Either way, I'm going to be pacing the floor of the AZ Gun Show in December all 4 days from set-up to take-down!

Thanks! Gale Force (and Lord Darrell)

CB, We can't tell you how much you all have done to support morale around here. It's only cowboys who treat each other like this. THERE'S NO OTHER SPORT LIKE CAS!!! Thanks for everything!

Gale

P.S. You can probably pull it down after the first of the year. We talked to another guy who lost 50 guns when the thieves took his safe 8 years ago. He's only gotten 3 back in all this time...but there's always hope! Thanks again.
